1. I am 44 and went for my first mammogram this week. Over due I know. I learned that a squashed bosom can be quite painful. But to ease my pain and suffering I was given a bar of chocolate afterward the test!! I learned I recover quickly when given a Hershey bar. ;o)
2. I learned that when you drink a NOS energy drink practically everyday for months and months you get addicted to the caffeine. I also learned that when you decide to quit drinking them because you know that it is SO bad for you that you will have a migraine for days and days. Not fun, but will be worth it in the end.
3. I am learning that my frustrations and lack of patience is my own fault because I won't say no to people. It is okay to say no once in awhile. Even to your own mother who doesn't understand it. She will live.
4. I have no money. Seriously. Our line of work (restoring old Mustangs) has been affected by the economy. My husband and I are really praying fervently on what we should do next. He keeps opening doors for us that tells us we should continue. We want to do His will not ours. And sometimes that is very hard. I am learning to be still and listen. Please pray for us as we wait on His answer!

No money is no fun. My husband just started a new job after being laid off in November. Even with a job we have to live on a tight budget because it is a commission based job. I'll pray for your peace of mind while trying to discern where you are being led.
I may have to try this..Im learning lots too my friend..Way to go on gett the mammo thing on!!! Rock on!!!
I learned that I spend waaaayyy too much time on Facebook trying to beat your score in PathWords!! seriously, I am spending way too much time on the computer in general and am learning that I need to cut back and tackle my house work! But...after a sometimes LOOOONNNGGGG morning in the classroom, I just want to veg on the computer and not do ANY thing!
good for you and the mammo. My first was at age 35 to get a baseline and every year once I turned 40. They don't bother me at all but that's because I am. well. kinda. small.
It is hard for me to say no too. And I hope you find another income soon! That has to be stressful. Thanks for linking in today! :-)
I'll be 44 this year, too, and I have yet to go for a Mammogram. It's something I definitely need to do.
