Friday Fun Day!

Okay, my question for the day is.......

Would you rather spend a beautiful, perfect weather day at the beach, at an amusement park, camping and hiking or shopping with your best friend with endless amounts of cash?

For more Aloha Friday questions go check out Kailani's place today!

271. What a fun time we had at Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana! We spent most of the day in the lazy river and the wave pools! It was beautiful weather 90 degrees! The day was relaxing and enjoyable!

272. When we were getting ready to leave the park a lightening storm came from out of nowhere! I was sitting there in an electric scooter wondering if I was going to get struck. It was hitting all around us. I am not kidding! Scary!! I got drenched and this sweet family came over and dried me off with their towel and gave me a new one to keep warm. How sweet was that?

273. Oh, how could I forget? They only charged me half price admission since I use a wheelchair! How cool is that folks? Plus their food is real cheap and you get FREE soft drinks all the live long day! And they also give you FREE sunscreen. And yes, I did use it all day, but I still got crispy.

274. And I learned at what a blessing aloe vera with lidocaine is on the way home! Soothing. Plus it is blue so, of course, that made me happy!

275. But the biggest blessing of that day was spending time with my precious family that I love so very much! We laughed and splashed and giggled the whole day!

When was the last time you had your hair cut/trimmed?

Does snipping at it myself count? I'm always trimming my bangs to get it out of my eyes. It's been about six weeks since I had a for real haircut.

Name one thing you miss about being a child.

Oh, I know...being with your best friend and feeling the wind in your face as you run as fast as you can, then you fall down laughing in the grass. Then you lay there awhile and look up in the sky and see what kind of things the clouds are forming. Sigh. Oh to be young again!

Pick one: butter, margarine, olive oil.

Olive oil hands down. Cooking chicken in it tastes so much better than the other two. Then all I add is a tiny bit of salt and pepper and I'm good to go. Much healthier too!

Main Course

If you could learn another language, which one would you pick, and why?

I had four years of Spanish, but can't remember a whole lot of it. I would pick that again because we have a lot of Spanish speaking folks in our town now and many of them do not speak English. I would be able to communicate with them and tell them about Christ!

Finish this sentence: In 5 years I expect to be…

In five years I expect to be quite a few pounds lighter and off prednisone and most importantly running around chasing my grandchildren and spoiling them rotten!

Has to be the beach! Listening to the surf! Feeling the warmth of the sun. Not so much the sand, but building sand catstles.

The heat got to me this week. Last night we had monsoons, and it rained all night. It was so refreshing.

Have a fantastic day, Amy!

I'm different than everyone that's answered so far...I'd rather shop, but ONLY because there would be no limit on money.. I have lots I would like to buy/do at my house! After that, it would definitely be the beach, but ONLY with sunscreen...I burn REALLY bad!
